Last Month, Pleasanton Rentals celebrated their 20 year anniversary and wanted to create a special appreciation event for their loyal customers. I'm so glad they brought me on board for a private sketch lesson for their very best clients! It was really great to meet some of the East Bay's best florists, event planners, and venues. I loved getting to meet new creatives in the event industry and teaching them something that not only is fun, but really relaxing too!
We started off our lesson with a little bit of watercolor. The attendees got to play with some of my favorite sketch supplies and new watercolor pigments. We normally don't offer watercolor during our The Sketchbook Series tour, so I decided that it would be fun to do something unique for this special occasion.
I'm so glad they invited me to teach this group -- it was a fun bunch! We laughed, we painted, we sketched! The inspiration of the hour was a cake by Ma Petite Maison Cake Design. And with events, you never really think about how many hands it takes to bring together these lovely experiences. Each guest had handwritten namecards by Swoon Custom Chalk & each walked away with the coolest hand-painted geometric placecard holders by the non other Esselle SF.
Thank you to Pleasanton Rentals for having me!
